This is the place where King Lear directed by Karanth was staged before Rangayana took shape. This is a natural stage with the background of a lake and forest. This is a well organized and attractive open air theatre auditorium. There are 600 seats as stepped stone slabs. Many famous dramas including the first show of Kindari Jogi directed by Karanth for Rangayana have been staged here.

This is a studio-theatre which is a small auditorium which can house about 100 people. This is suitable for small functions, music, dance, and seminars and other cultural programmes and one-man shows.
